G3 TWH mare done to a black tobiano for a Christmas exchange with a friend. White areas and hooves are really bleached out by the bad lighting. Dec. 2007. Click to see more pics on her own page. I entered her in the RESS Finishwork Exhibition and got 1st place in the patterns category (minimal sabino - belly splash). Finished in June 2007. Done in pastels and acrylics. Rose Cheveyo resin, shown as a Spanish Mustang, portrait model of Painted Warrior. Original tail broke in a fall from a shelf, so he's now sporting a more relaxed tail, and his mane and forelock have been tamed as well. October 2005.
North Light Donkey foal that I chose as a door prize. She was missing her left rear leg, and had a chip in one of her ears (I can't remember which one). Jan/Feb 2005. She shattered during a fall and is in a baggie awaiting rebuilding. Horsing Around Magazine Draft Filly. January 2005. This photo washed out the pinking on her face and thin skinned areas, and the textured white areas are hairy, not globby white paint. She has been repainted and has a lot less white now than the picture shows.
This little guy was done for Sherry Ball as part of a repaint exchange. We tossed names in a hat and you had to do a custom for the person you drew.
I figured with all the white I'd stick this guy in pintos. One of the Carols C.O.W.S.
![]() Originally painted a flaxen chestnut by Janis Whitcomb (which I loved!), "Sheza QP Doll" suffered a rubs and leg break during a fall in June 2003 at Red River Live. Now resurrected as a red dun wild sabino (using her original body color as a starting point), she will re-start her show career! Janis gave her permission for me to use her paint job as a base for it.
Texas Valentine, a Williams' Matriarch resin, liver chestnut tobiano, lighter mane and tail. The full body shot shows the color most accurately. She is slightly lighter than her son, below. January 2003.
Lone Star Live 2003 (1H/2W, Reserve Champ Stock Resin)Red River Live 2003 (1H/3W, Champion AR Stock, Grand Champion AR Halter, 2nd stock work) ![]() Almost an Okie, an Okie Too resin, liver chestnut tobiano, copper-y mane and tail. Pattern from a real horse. March 2002.
Othello in Black Tobiano as a Gypsy Vanner. March 2002. NAN qualified 5 times with me. SOLD UPDATE: His new owner Lori has just informed me that he placed 1st in his class and won Champion in the Sport division at Sock Hop Live! Linda York SM resin NoRush, painted in January 2002. She has one blue eye and the other eye is half blue, half brown. Sold to Pat Henry in September 2002.
This little gal is the Horsing Around Riding Pony resin painted in a liver chestnut tobiano using a pattern from a real horse. She's a little less metallic than the foal below, but basically the same color. August 2001. Unfortunately her tail is broken and I haven't had a chance to fix it yet. Liver chestnut tobiano on the SM scratching foal, my first attempt at this color. Her mane and tail are lighter than her body, about the same color as caramel. Done in June 2001. SOLD![]() This little bugger is a Hadrian resin. He's the first artist resin I painted myself, and I got him in the mail the Monday before Lone Star Live 2001 and he was ready to go by Friday night. SOLD This ASB was done as a donation for Great Lakes Congress in Illinois in 1998 or 1999. I started out doing a CM Swaps, but there was an acetone accident (it ate him!). So this little gal materialized. The G2 stock horse mold (you'll notice I like him) with a new mane and tail, done as a blue roan tobiano with mapping around all his spots. October 1999. This is the SM Draft mold that I re-did to a Spotted Draft Horse or Drum Horse and sold on eBay in September 1999. Sold to Lisa Bickford. Shown before his finish coat. This is the bay TB mare mold etched to a very loud tobiano in July 1999. Getting that paint out of those little crevices is pretty hard! This is the G2stock horse mold that I did into a black overo Paint. I took it from the real stallions Crackerjack Sonny and Impressive Chalen. I thought he turned out really adorable. I did him in March 1999. This is a repaint I did for my friend Jaci Hibbert in May or June of 1999. Sorry, no big images of him. I was given him back when she passed away. :-( |
