Model Horse Tack
My name is Lynn, and I started out as a Breyer collector when I was little, like just about every other collector. I had no idea that the hobby was so involved until the mid 80's when I started getting Breyer's Just About Horses magazine. From then on I was hooked. The collection slowed a little during the teen years, but I still added to it at birthdays and Christmas (I still ask for them now!). I started getting JAH in the mid '80's, and got online in mid 1994. At that point I was in Montana, and while there were a few shows held by clubs, I decided to hold my own show. I hosted Big Sky Live in 1997 and 1998 (the first NAN shows in Montana), took a year off and then I joined a friend in hosting a show in Kalispell in August 2000. Ronni Marcum held the OF day (Heart of the Rockies) and I was in charge of the CM/Resin day (Big Sky Live). I have moved to NAMHSA Region 5, an area with a lot of shows, and enjoy showing 2-3 times a year. My daughter is also collecting models and has started with the Youth/Novice division.
