Please note about stirrups and saddle cloths: All racing saddles now have the racing stirrups available through RDLC. Most of the saddles on the site show the old stirrups, but all saddles currently for sale do have the actual racing stirrups. The red racing saddle (link above) shows the new style of stirrups. Only the saddle cloths shown on the Saddle Cloth page are the one I am selling. The blue and red cloths are ones I purchased before making my own and are not for sale. Insured shipping is included for continental USA orders. Saddles will come with "stitch marks". Buckles are slide through (not tongue) buckles, for ease of use. Saddle made with quality Rio Rondo/Ranchos De Los Cabillitos supplies. Different leathers are pieced together for the reins to create the appearance of a rubberized rein (can do a solid rein if that is your preference). 4-6 week turn around. Stirrups are glued at a fixed length, though if you would like to adjust your own stirrups (personal preference or to fit a doll) I can leave them loose so that you can glue them at the level you would like. I have successfully live shown these saddles, although the term LSQ is subjective (depends on what you are showing against, how tack is adjusted, the rest of your setup, etc.). I personally have NAN qualified using my tack in tough Texas performance classes and Carmen Robertson got a Top Ten at NAN 2008 using my tack and her wonderful racing background. Cigar, Ruffian, Lonesome Glory, Smarty Jones and Phar Lap sizes can be made at this time, please inquire about other models. I do have the Thoroughbred resins Kittydidit and Victrix to size saddles and bridles. If you have a model I don't have, we can either go by measurements or by another model of a similar size, and I can make the straps a little long on the bridle so that you can trim it to fit once you get it on your model. The girths are stretchy enough that a saddle will fit several different models.
